Raphael Jan Bofill is a Filipino cinematographer who grew up between Dallas and Manila and is now crafting compelling visuals in New York City. Learning the craft from his late father, a respected Director of Photography in the Philippines, Raphael found his passion behind the camera early—posting his first short films to YouTube as far back as 2008.
After relocating to New York three years ago, Raphael’s journey took him from working in kitchens to working on notable creative projects, including content for Moriah Elizabeth and a feature in Vogue.
Now as a cinematographer at Woodside Motion, Raphael brings both technical precision and a deeply personal storytelling style to every shoot, capturing visuals that elevate the heart of every project.
